My name is Mehakpreet Kaur
I am a passionate and versatile Fashion designer with a strong academic foundation in both design and business. I hold a B.Sc. in Fashion Design along with Postgraduate certificates in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurial Enterprise and Fashion Management from Humber College. My education has provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the fashion industry, combining creative design skills with strategic business knowledge.
Through my portfolio, I aim to showcase my diverse skills—from fashion design and trend forecasting to product development and brand management. With a keen eye for detail and a forward-thinking mindset, I’m always excited to explore new opportunities in the evolving world of fashion and entrepreneurship.

Fast fashion is causing unprecedented amounts of pollution to the environment. It is important for us as customers to make conscious and sustainable decisions and move backwards towards slow fashion.
These 3d Art pieces is uniquely handcrafted using loom weaving and hand embroidery tech quines like satin stitches and wire embroidery to add complexity, depth, and texture which are visually compelling. I hope to inspire better awareness and appreciation of slow fashion and handmade materials to preserve this beautiful environment gifted to us by the creator.

COIL PROJECT ON THE LABEL FOLKLORE
-Worked with the International fashion management program students from Nottingham Trent university( NTU) on the case study for Sana Sapra's label "Folklore" that focuses on sustainability.
-Researched on the critical challenges faced by the brand and developed short and long term plans to uplift the brand identity in the today's fast pace market.
